Introduction
Hi! My name is Arianna. I am currently a freshmen at Arizona State University. My major is Theatre, with a concentration in Design and Production and an emphasis in Lighting Design. I also attend Barrett, the Honors College.
I am starting this blog so I have a place to share all of my Disney College Program information with family, friends, and any other interested readers. Additionally, I hope it will serve as a nice travel journal for me to document my experiences.
My program is the Spring Advantage schedule, so I leave on January 28th and (theoretically) return August 1st, but I plan to stay in Orlando at least through December by extending my program. I already have some wonderfully kind roommates that I met through the Facebook page, and we are enjoying getting to know each other through Disney trivia and lots of "What's your favorite..." questions.
My role is Merchandise, and although Attractions was initially my top role, I am very grateful to have been selected for Merchandise instead. Currently, I work as a Costume Shop Assistant for the school of Film, Dance, and Theatre, at ASU, so Merchandise is certainly going to be quite a departure from that.
Fun fact about me, I actually took my senior photos in Disneyland, in March of last year. Although I cannot predict the future, I initially began planning to do the DCP as soon as possible in January 2017, and I thought it would be fun to take them in a place that I love so much and had hoped to work for one day.

I'm really new to this whole blogging thing, and I usually do academic writing, so I'm sorry if this isn't very fun to read. I hope to have lots of fun info to share on here and photos documenting the experience!
The school semester ends on my birthday this year, and after that I am sure I will have plenty of free time to update everyone. Until then, posts will likely be pretty sporadic.
I plan on writing about my experience with the application process next! Until then!
